It’s a statement those of us in the financial industry have heard over and over during the course of our careers. ThinkingFinance is a site that is designed to quickly give you the knowledge to answer that question. On this site you will find a brief description of the various financial assets one can invest in and links to more specialized information in each of these categories. We also provide you with information so that you know how to trade and invest in these assets, as well as keeping you up to date with current market developments. ThinkingFinance aims to be a "one-stop-shop" to help you make money in the financial markets.

ThinkingFinance is the product of the hard work of one individual: Marc Knight. Marc has spent over 5 years working at a major investment (now commercial) bank in a variety of roles including derivatives marketing, proprietary trading, and derivatives trading. Marc has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from MIT. Also, he has Bachelors Degrees in EECS and Management Science from the same university. During his time at MIT, Marc worked on consulting projects with both McKinsey and Company and Boston Consulting Group.
